NEWS IN MEMORYMOON VERSION 1.5: When importing
old banks there will be a "205 parameters could not be loaded error
message" . That is because I have done a big cleanup in the patch.mem.
and deleted 205 parameters. Most of them was not needed because of
the new GUI keyboard system developed by Andy Medforth. It saves CPU and
loading times. New filter model for filter2. Both filters
are now 64 bit. Less CPU. Overall CPU for the synth should be 5-6%
faster than the 1.4 version. Cleaner filter sound. And filter2 has
improved algorithm for controlling self-oscillation level.
Filter2: 6
new modes for FM (audio rate modulation). 3 chain modes and 3 ladder
modes. Filter modelling means better distortion and +/- 5% variations
in all vital components. Midi learn by right clicking any
controls. Stored in patches/banks. Dual core problem
solved. New glide system. Works like the
original.
New GUI keyboard. When you click on the
"memorymoon" sign, vertical mouse movements are modulation , while
horisontal mouse movements are bend. LCD now shows patch
name, and you can click on the name and select patches from a list. And
there are arrows to select patch up/down. LCD letters has more red
colour. Clicks when changing presets improved. For perfect patch
change use the red arrows. And incoming program change from MIDI should
work perfect now. Reduced note stealing clicks. 3 hidden voices makes
note stealing less audible. Voicecard drift: Independent pitch drift
for osc1 and osc2. So the detuning between osc1 and osc2 will be
different for each voicecard. New soundfont player with
high quality zinc conversion possible. ("CPU" button). New
GUI knob and new GUI wheels. NEWS IN VERSION
MESSIAH 1.1: New factory bank with 34 new patches done from me
and 13 new patches from Grzegorz Bartoszek ( www.vstcafe.com

Presentation
Memorymoon has 6 voicecards with 3 oscillators, noise oscillator, amp and 2 filters. Settings above 5V in the mixer introduces overdrive.
Features include: 6 voice
unison. Osc sync. Many envelope curves. Graphic envelopes. Arpeggiator
and trancegate. Hold function. LFO, Voice-LFO, and Delay-time can be
synced to host clock or to tapped tempo. You can tap tempo with a
sustainpedal or with a button.
There is "voice-card drift"
settings for tune, amp, filter cutoff and pulse width. So each
voice-card can sound slightly different. It is also possible to play
soundfonts and drum-loops in wav-format. This is intended for live
performance.

LCD letters has more red colour.
Clicks when changing presets improved. For perfect patch change use the red arrows. And incoming program change from MIDI should work perfect now.
Reduced note stealing clicks. 3 hidden voices makes note stealing less audible.
Voicecard drift: Independent pitch drift for osc1 and osc2. So the detuning between osc1 and osc2 will be different for each voicecard.
New soundfont player with high quality zinc conversion possible. ("CPU" button).
New GUI knob and new GUI wheels.
Version 1.4 released 16.11.07.
Less CPU in pitch knobs.
Less CPU in the midi split system
70% less CPU in the wav player.
Possible to erease uploaded sample in wav-player.
2X oversampling in the distortion.
High-cut filter (Speaker emulator) in the distortion.
Total overhaul of all knobs an buttons for better recall.
Some new sounds by me and Peter Werner
Faster chorus/phaser.
Fixed clicks in phaser.
LCD read-readout completed for the whole edit page.
A logic fix in the mono/poly system to prevent unison voices in poly mode.
Solved loading problem with cutoff in unison mode.
New algorithm to control filter2 self oscillation level.
Version 1.3 released 24.06.07. Smoother response from cutoff, resonance, filter contour,
master-volume and pitch knob, GUI keyboard now plays correct octave, a bug in amp velocity to envelope
time corrected. Improved phaser sound.
26.05.07 Version 1.2 .
News in version 1.2:
New presets by Heinrich Horstmann. Less effects in the factory bank for a more punchy hardware sound.
Shorter relese in original memorymoog presets. Dave Haupt updated filter1 to solve some clicks.
Problems with extreme distortion/clicks from filter2 in "CPU save" mode solved. New delay has 50% lower CPU.
The chorus has been rebuilt with lower CPU and reduced clicks. Effect section routing rebuilt for in
order to reduce CPU. New distortion module has 80% lower CPU (Until the oversampled module is ready).
18.02.07 Version 1.1 .
News in version 1.1
Attila Fustos updated the oscillator.Crash when uploading more than 3 instances in Cubase,
or more than 1 instance in Sonar fixed. On/off switches for osc2 fixed.
Modulation signal for filter 1 smoother to prevent crackles at fast modulation rates,
but remember that filter1 is not made for audio rate modulation. Use filter2 for that.
In addition there is a lot of bugfixes, and fixes for bad recall.
Presets organized by category. New presets by Peter Werner (PeWe) and Tom sounds is made by databass (alias Tommaso Berardocco).
The soundfont section is now with true stereo and is optimized for keyboard sounds. (Filter tracking and
keyfollow for envelopes). See the pianopatches at the download page.
Brighter reverb.
I have made all 30 filter-models in filter2 available for the end user. It is basically 15 filter models with fast (low CPU)
versions of all filter models. The default model is 4-1:5. The 4:4 filter has a smoother resonance.
15.11.06. Version 1.0 . Betatesters:
Scott Bickel, Arsov Aleksander, Peter Werner, Ian Booth, David Haupt, Frank McCarty, Roger Harrison, Ferdinand Strixner, Ralph Gonzales,
Michael Woodman (Nicanorgate) and Mattias Askervall.
